Being 29 makes me look in the mirror, in awe of my grown woman body. She has come a long way and has had a lot of transitions in the past nine years, especially regarding my PCOS journey.
So, this is twenty-fine, and I plan to ensure my feminine and overall health age like wine. This past year, I have realized much about myself and become more in tune with my body and its needs. A goal of mine this year is to regulate my cycle and minimize the pain.
One month down, and I’m happy to report my period arrived on time with minimum pain, mainly discomfort. I have learned that staying active and using gentle movements while on my cycle dramatically helps. I tend to do light cardio and yoga during the initial menstruation and then resume my routine about the last couple of days.
In my early twenties, my period lasted a maximum of 4 days, and I am noticing my period is now lasting around a week, with a longer PMS window; I am unsure what that is about. It is time to schedule a gyno appointment and ensure all is well.
Y’all, I elevated my lifestyle and use herbal delights to help me manage my feminine health because with my PMS, my mental health, especially anxiety, has gotten a bit out of control. This year, we are going on a journey to have an easy, breezy, elevated menstruation. Of course, with the guidance of a medical professional.
Actually, I believe I am currently PMSing, so we will be checking in really soon. Bless it be the fruit.
