June Newsletter | The Season of Showing Up

As-salaamu Alaikum, Fireworks 💚

June arrived with a reminder I didn’t know I needed:

Sometimes the next level isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about having the courage to be seen as who you’ve always been.

Over the past few weeks, life has felt full in every sense of the word. There have been moments of excitement, moments of overwhelm, moments of gratitude, and moments where I’ve had to remind myself that growth often feels uncomfortable before it feels rewarding.

But Alhamdulillah, we’re here.

June Campaigns & Content

This month, we’re continuing conversations around:

✨ Women’s Wellness
✨ PCOS Awareness
✨ Glaucoma Education
✨ Mental Health & Self-Care
✨ Intentional Living

One thing I’ve learned this year is that wellness isn’t a destination. It’s a daily practice of showing up for ourselves, even when life feels busy, uncertain, or overwhelming.

Whether you’ve been following my Drop-O-Clock glaucoma series, reading about my PCOS journey, joining me for wellness resets, or simply sharing your own experiences, thank you for being part of these conversations.

Every message, comment, and shared story reminds me why this work matters.

Black Girl Vitamins LIVE

One of the biggest changes this month has been stepping into my new role hosting LIVE shopping and wellness events with Black Girl Vitamins.

If you’ve joined a LIVE, you’ve already seen me learning, growing, laughing, educating, and occasionally figuring things out in real time.

What started as a new opportunity quickly became something bigger.

I’ve realized that I genuinely enjoy helping women better understand their bodies, ask questions, advocate for themselves, and learn about wellness in a way that feels approachable and empowering.

Thank you to everyone who has tuned in, supported me, and encouraged me as I navigate this new chapter.

Disclosure Day Prescreening

This month I also had the privilege of prescreening Disclosure Day, one of the most thought-provoking films I’ve seen in a long time.

The film explores questions surrounding truth, belief, humanity, and our relationship with the unknown.

What stayed with me most wasn’t necessarily the answers.

It was the questions.

Can faith and the unknown coexist?

Are we entitled to every truth?

And if we were given answers, would we actually be ready for them?

As a Muslim woman, I found myself reflecting long after the credits rolled.

Some films entertain.

Others challenge you to think.

Disclosure Day definitely falls into the second category.

Giveaway Time 👽✨

To celebrate the film and show appreciation to this incredible community, I’m giving one lucky Firework the chance to win an exclusive Disclosure Day prize bundle.

The giveaway includes:

• Exclusive merchandise
• Disclosure Day accessories
• Collectible promotional items

To enter, visit my Instagram, @theafromuslimah, and follow the giveaway instructions.

Most importantly, I want to hear your thoughts:

Do we deserve to know the truth?

The conversations happening in the comments have already been fascinating.

June Dua 🤲🏾

O Allah,

Grant me the courage to show up as the person You created me to be.

Bless my efforts, protect my peace, and guide my steps toward what is meant for me.

Help me trust Your timing when I cannot see the full picture, remain grateful through every season, and use my gifts in service to others.

Place barakah in my health, my family, my work, and every opportunity that brings me closer to You.

Ameen.

June Affirmations ✨

• I do not shrink to make others comfortable.
• My voice, story, and experiences have value.
• I am capable of learning, growing, and adapting.
• I trust myself to rise to new opportunities.
• Progress is still progress, even when it feels uncomfortable.
• I honor my mind, body, and spirit through intentional choices.
• What is meant for me will not miss me.
• I am allowed to take up space and be seen.

June Mantra 💚

Show up. Stay curious. Trust Allah.

Growth isn’t always comfortable, but neither is remaining the same.

This month, I choose courage over fear, curiosity over doubt, and faith over uncertainty.

With gratitude,
